Inkvisitor parts ways with Petteri Huikkonen – Looking for a new bass player

An end of an era has appeared as the bass player Petteri Huikkonen decided to part ways with Inkvisitor. He cited lack of time as a reason for this decision. The decision was not easy, but he believes it’s the right one for everyone since he couldn’t hive his 100% for the band. We others appreciate his honesty, thank him for the participation and wish him the best.

The deprature does not affect the recording schedule of the upcoming studio album, the band has already acquired a skilled session musician Pekka Löhönen to record bass tracks for the album if no permanent member is to be found in time. Pekka was already co-producing the album and since he is solid and seasoned bass player, it was natural to first call him as soon as the band received the news.

The band is now looking for a permanent bass player to its roster. If the new member is found in time and he can learn the material, he will then play also in the studio.

Requirements for the position:

  • Own gear
  • Can attend rehearsals 2-3 a week
  • Can pay his part of the rent (~28€)
  • Can attend shows (at least 20 per year, possibly more)
  • Has ideas about the basslines
  • Backing vocals are a plus, but not mandatory
  • Cool guy with a sense of humor
